FAQs on Reverse Osmosis RO Pumps OEM manufacturing
Q1: What is the purpose of diaphragm pump?
A1: The diaphragm pump is specially chosen for RO system because it does not require constant working for the pump, and the working process is controlled by the pressure change and water flow change from the water supply side to the treated water side. The diaphragm pump works by using the motor part to generate power and water flow to the water chamber of the pump head, the deliver water with enhanced pressure for the RO membrane, the diaphragm pump is taken as the heart of the RO system to provide running power.
Q2:What is the structural component of the diaphragm pump?
A2: The pump is composed of the pump head, and the motor part, the pump head part is further composed of the diaphragm, the valve seats, the water input and output valve, the piston, the cover, the motor is composed of iron-core and copper winding, the rotator, the shell and the end cap.
Q3: How to select the pump for the RO system?
A3: The selection of the pump shall be meeting the requirement of the RO system, total water volume of input water volume and output volume of the RO system should be considered, the pump working flow rate should be equal to the total water volume of the RO system..
Q4: How to select the transformer for the pump?
A4: Hikins pump has 24V and 36V two categories, each model of the pump has a maximum electrical current, the transformer selection should be based on the max working current of the pump, I the transformer current is smaller than the pump max working current, the transformer will be easily get burnt.
Q5: How do we avoid pump leakage?
A5: Make sure the feed water is pre-treated and free of sand before the water goes to the pump system, to change the pre-filters of the RO system often.
Q6: What is the best position to put the pump?
A6: To make sure water will not goes into the motor side and cause problem, pump is suggested to be assembled either horizontally or vertically with the pump head down.
Q7: Can the pump being used for oil material?
A7: It's not suggested for the pump to be used for oil material as the valve will be easily get blocked.
Q8: Can we discharge the pump and check it on our own?
A8: The pump has been properly tested and safe sticker has been added to the pump, please do not discharge it unless under proper instruction from pump professionals.
