Hikins Wholehouse Iron Removal XLE-8400 Water Filters for Tap
Product Description
XLE series of extremely low energy consumption and high flow rate for tap water reverse osmosis membrane filter elements, are made of carefully rolled polyamide composite reverse osmosis diaphragms with the largest flow rate in the world at present. It can treat various water sources with salt content below 500ppm.
It mainly used in small-scale pharmaceutical, food and electronic plants for process pure water and ultra-pure water. It can also be used for desalination and purification treatment in schools, communities and other water supply stations.
Features of XLE Series
1. Super high water production, with higher water production under 100Psi operating conditions, and more than 10% higher flow rate than other
similar products under the same pressure, which can also reduce the investment cost of booster pumps, pipelines and pressure vessels.
2. Can effectively reduce operating costs and design difficulties, and can reduce the use of pressure vessels in the case of feed water SDI value
less than 3, significantly reducing the investment and later operation and maintenance costs of the system, with a very high cost
performance.
3. High stability, optimized membrane element structure, using a wide flow channel short membrane page design, the series of membrane
elements with high operational stability and cleanable performance.
4. Wide range of choices and complete series of specifications, with diameters of 2.5, 4.0 and 8.0 inches and lengths of 14, 21 and 40 inches,
which can meet the needs of systems with different water production volumes, and can also produce membrane elements of various sizes
and specifications according to customer needs.
Features of XLE-8400
1. Stable salt rejection of 99.2% , minimum salt rejection at 99.0%
2. Stable permeate water output
3. 8" x 40" international standard size
4. Fit to universal FRP and SS304/316 membrane housing
5. Optional wet membrane upon request

FAQ
FAQs on Reverse Osmosis RO membrane OEM manufacturing
Q1: What type of RO membrane is avaliable in your company?
A1: In general, Hikins has Domestic RO membrane and Industrial RO membrane, For Domestic RO membrane, Hikins has Municipal Tap water RO membrane, Rural Area Under Ground water RO membrane, High-flow Low pressure RO membrane, and Brackish water RO membrane.
For Industrial RO membrane, Hikins has Low Pressure Engergy saving RO membrane, BW Brackish water desalination RO membrane, FR Fouling Resistant RO membrane, as well as XLE Extreme Low Pressure RO membrane, and High Salinity Brackish Water Desalination RO membrane.
Q2: What is Salt Rejection Ratio?
A2: The Salt rejection describes the quality of salt removed from the Reverse Osmosis feed water stream as a percentage. It's one of the key element of the RO membrane quality, however, other essential elements such as RO membrane performance durability, stability, application scope in different region, and permeate flow output at the same pressure will all be the important factors to judge the quality of the membrane.
Q3: Is the Salt reation of the RO membrane the higher the better?
A3: This will be depending on the feed water quality, if the feed water quality is good, even a 90% salt rejection membrane will be workable, if the feed water is with bad quality and with brackish water environment, a higher salt rejection above 95% is an ideal choice. For any membrane that meet the local drinking water standard will be a good membrane.
Q4: Is there are any other element we need to take into consideration when selection the RO membrane?
A4: Yes, the pre-treatment filter cartridge and pre-treatment system will affect the RO membrane performance as well, please select good quality filters and pre-treatment system.
Q5: Why there are white foam-like water being in the treated water at the initial usage?
A5: To preserve the RO membrane for a long shelf-life, and prevent the membrane from being oxydized, a water soluble protection material is coated on the surface of the membrane, which will be rejected in both the rejected water and treated water, for initial use, both rejected water and treated water should be rejected and the the RO membrane should be thourghly cleansed. The treated water at initial use shall not be injected to the water storage tank.
Q6: Why there are bublles in the treated water?
A6: Oxygen and Nitrogensand carbon dioxide is water soluble in the molecular form, during the water filtration process in the Reverse Osmosis process, those air will be released due to the pressure change between input water and output water. Those air is not harmful, just like Coca-cola.
Q7: Why dry RO membrane has a salt rejection rising process from its initial usage?
A7: The performance of the RO membrane is strictly conencted to the wetness of the membrane, when the membrane is wet, it will reach to ts maximum performance, dry membrane has a process to become wet from its initial usage. Make sure that the membrane hsould be rinsed after each usage.
Q8: Why Active carbon filter is requested for RO membrane?
A8: Chloride and chlorine content is harmful from the feed water, RO membrane is easily to be damaged as the surface of the RO membrane will be easily being oxydized.
